Sha’Carri Richardson made sure to remind people that she is still that girl with her performance in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.
Team USA’s women’s relay team will compete in the 4×100-meter final all because Richardson showed why she was made for the big stage.
Sha’Carri Richardson bailed the women out from a near collapse on Thursday in the Olympic 4×100 relay. She overcame a German runner in the anchor leg to help the Americans win their heat and advance to the gold-medal race.
Amid that run, Richardson could be seen staring at Rebekka Haase as she quickly passed her up on the track.
Wow! The way she looked at her before she passed her by. Sha’Carri is unreal! 😮💨pic.twitter.com/vpCdokcoou

Richardson was about three steps behind after receiving the baton from Gabby Thomas, but her world-class speed made up the difference caused by a misconnection on the exchange with Twanisha Terry and Thomas.
