Social Media Is Destroying The Colorado Buffaloes For Posting The Fakest-Looking Video Edit Of Shedeur Sanders’ Touchdown Pass In Practice

The Colorado Buffaloes’ football team is being roasted for posting an edited video of a throw made by quarterback Shedeur Sanders during fall camp.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Buffaloes posted a video of Shedeur Sanders evading defenders before launching a deep ball to the end zone. The video quickly cut to wide receiver LaJohntay Wester hauling in a pass for six:

Having received backlash for the edited video, the Buffaloes’ X/Twitter account posted two more side-by-side videos on Wednesday afternoon with the “shushing” and “shrugging” emojis:

But let’s just say that fans weren’t picking up what the Buffaloes were putting down. Even the Arkansas Razorbacks’ X/Twitter account had to poke some fun at Shedeur Sanders’ squad here:

The Buffaloes have quickly emerged as one of those teams in NCAA football that you either love or hate. The team has become a media darling since the arrival of head coach Deion Sanders, who has undeniably done a superb job marketing his football team and program in Boulder.

Colorado will begin their 2024 season with a home game against the North Dakota State Bison on Aug. 29 (8:00 p.m. EST). After that, they’ll begin a mini two-game road trip against the rival Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sept. 7.

Shedeur Sanders Is A Top 2025 NFL Draft Prospect

Though the Buffs finished with a disappointing 4-8 record after a 3-0 start, there were plenty of positives in year one under “Prime Time.” Shedeur Sanders asserted himself as one of the nation’s top QBs by throwing for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns against only three interceptions.

Sanders is already regarded as one of the top three quarterback prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft, along with Georgia’s Carson Beck and Texas’ Quinn Ewers. With an improved offensive line and a healthy two-way star in Travis Hunter, the pieces are there for Shedeur to be even better in 2024.
