A major rift is happening in the MAGA world, and Riley Gaines is at the center of it.
This weekend, tension surrounding Donald Trump’s handling of information related to the death and crimes of Jeffrey Epstein reached a new high. Previously, Trump questioned why the public would still be demanding answers about Epstein.
“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years… We have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things, and are people still talking about this guy? This creep? … I can’t believe you’re asking a question about Epstein at a time like this,” he said in response to a reporter’s question.
He would then double down by calling out backlash from his base.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’” Trump posted to Truth Social.
“They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”
Then, Trump suggested files related to Epstein are “fake” creations of “Radical Left Lunatics,” writing, “Why are we giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration.”
“They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier that they used on me, and now my so-called ‘friends’ are playing right into their hands,” he continued.
“One year ago, our Country was DEAD, now it’s the ‘HOTTEST’ Country anywhere in the World,” he concluded. “Let’s keep it that way, and not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about.”

The former Kentucky swimmer has been questioning the man she voted for at every turn with his response to the Epstein Files.
In response, many of the MAGA members have been calling her out for turning on Donald Trump.
The conservative activist and former college swimmer, who voted Republican in last year’s election due to the party’s vow to keep transgender athletes out of women’s sports, wrote, “It’s amazing how many people think asking legitimate, justified questions is the same as “turning on” someone.”
Ganes continued: “I proudly voted for Trump twice and have no regret. I also want pedophiles to be held accountable. It’s like the least controversial take in the real world lol.”
