Former NHL player Nick Tarnasky is under investigation after a viral video surfaced of him beating the living daylights out of another man during a golf course brawl.
A witness filmed Nick Tarnasky and an unnamed man getting into a fight at the Alberta Springs Golf Course in Red Deer, Alberta. The two groups exchanged words for about 90 seconds before turning physical, as the man made the mistake of challenging the former NHL tough guy.
Tarnasky easily overpowered the man and nearly pushed him straight into a pond. The guy got back up and continued to challenge Tarnasky, who screamed “enough” repeatedly. Not backing down, Tarnasky threw more punches at the man and tossed him to the ground.

In May, Red Deer Minor Hockey announced that Nick Tarnasky was returning as head coach of their U17 AAA North Stars team. Speaking to TMZ Sports, the league said they’re investigating the incident involving Tarnasky:
“At this time, given that we understand the matter is being reviewed by local policing authorities and we are conducting our own internal investigation into the alleged incident, we will have no further comments.”
