Travis Kelce may have decided to come back for another season, but the Kansas City Chiefs are losing another longtime legend and fan favorite to retirement.
In a video posted on the team’s X/Twitter account, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that Dan Meers, the man who has donned their “KC Wolf” mascot suit for the past 35 years, has decided to retire.
Meers attended more than 10,000 events as KC Wolf, including 375 total NFL contests, nine Pro Bowls, six international games and five Super Bowls.
