The picturesque grounds of Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, provided the breathtaking backdrop for the wedding of Los Angeles Rams linebacker Nate Landman and his beautiful bride, Brynna DeLuzio. Their June 27th nuptials were a lavish affair, a testament to their love and a celebration attended by a host of current and former athletes.

A Dream Come True: Brynna’s Vision and Exquisite Attire

Brynna, a University of Colorado volleyball alum, always envisioned an Italian wedding. However, with Nate’s demanding NFL schedule, they opted for the stunning Oheka Castle, which offered the romantic Italian garden ambiance she craved while remaining conveniently located in the US. The castle’s history added an extra layer of magic, as it’s the same location where Kevin and Danielle Jonas exchanged vows and Taylor Swift filmed her iconic “Blank Space” music video.

Three Stunning Gowns for a Memorable Day

Brynna’s breathtaking wedding journey included three distinct looks. Her ceremony gown, a Valentini design featuring exquisite lace, was initially a surprise choice. Initially envisioning a simpler style, she was captivated by the dress’s unique lace and the way a bolero transformed its appearance. For the reception, the bolero was removed, revealing a stunning strapless silhouette. Later, she transitioned into a fun, dance-friendly outfit—a fitted corset top, puffy long sleeves, and a silky miniskirt, complete with a cape skirt, perfect for celebrating on the dance floor. Her hair and makeup were expertly crafted by Brielle Bahr.

A Ceremony Filled with Faith and Emotion

The ceremony itself was a moving blend of faith and heartfelt emotion. Guests joined in a hymn led by Brynna’s pastor from Florida, setting a deeply spiritual tone. The couple exchanged personally written vows, reflecting their journey together. Officiating the ceremony were Gary and Rita Klatt, mentors to both the couple and Brynna’s parents, who provided premarital counseling and guidance on their spiritual journey as individuals and a couple.

A Grand Celebration: From Casino Cocktail Hour to Lavish Reception

Following the ceremony, guests were transported to a casino-themed cocktail hour, complete with blackjack, roulette, and craps tables provided by Casino Production. This unique addition provided a lively and engaging atmosphere before the grand reception. A wide array of delectable hors d’oeuvres, including coconut shrimp, crab cakes, and a raw seafood bar (a must-have for the seafood-loving bride!), whetted appetites for the feast to come.

A Culinary Extravaganza

The reception was a culinary masterpiece, highlighting the couple’s consideration for their athlete guests. The food was a major focus, offering a truly impressive spread that included a steakhouse carving station, Italian station, Mediterranean station, pretzel station, and a taco station. Two magnificent wedding cakes – a five-tiered raspberry and dulce de leche cake, and a heart-shaped Italian wedding cake – were the stunning centerpiece of the dessert café, alongside an array of pastries, sorbets, and mousses created by Oheka Castle’s executive pastry chef, Daniel Andreotti. The dessert café was, as Brynna described, a dream come true.

A Night of Romance and Celebration

The reception, held on the upper lawn, was beautifully illuminated with bistro lighting, creating a magical atmosphere. Elegant chandeliers adorned with greenery, flickering candles, and white blush florals from The Floral Way Events added to the sophisticated ambiance. The couple cleverly highlighted the natural beauty of the venue, allowing the castle’s nighttime illumination to speak for itself.

A Personalized Touch: Music and Memories

The first dance was particularly special, featuring an original song crafted by singer-songwriter Preslea Elliott. The song, a testament to their unique love story, was a surprise for both Nate and their guests. The dance floor, expertly managed by Pro Show Events, pulsed with energy throughout the night.

The Journey to “I Do” and Beyond

The couple’s journey to the altar began a few years after meeting at a student-athlete summer program at the University of Colorado. Following a January engagement at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, they planned their dream wedding in just five months – a whirlwind of activity, planned with the help of their wedding planner, Woven & Revel. The celebrations included a welcome drinks party the night before and a farewell breakfast the morning after. Their honeymoon is planned for next offseason in Greece and Italy. Now settled into their new Los Angeles home, they eagerly anticipate the next chapter – building a life and family together.
