Deebo Samuel is ready for new beginnings.
The last few years have been good for Samuel since he was on a 49ers team that was a Super Bowl contender. That ended in 2025 as the team looked like a shell of itself and appeared to be headed for a bit of a rebuild.
Samuel was traded from the San Francisco 49ers to the Washington Commanders in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round draft pick.
Despite his declining production over the last couple of seasons in San Francisco, Samuel has been one of the most productive wide receivers since 2021.
Deebo Samuel is going viral as he continues to get acquainted with his new teammates and surroundings.
This week, his official team picture was sent out on social media.
Samuel was posing from the front and the back. His front is what had NFL fans talking.
Deebo Samuel finished the 2024 season with 51 catches for 670 yards and three touchdowns in the air. He also had 42 carries for 136 rushing yards and an additional touchdown on the ground.
In 2024, Samuel averaged 8.3 yards after catch per reception – the third-highest average of any wide receiver in the NFL.
