Marvin Harrison Jr.’s Ongoing Feud With Fanatics Takes Another Ugly Turn That’s Screwing NFL Fans Everywhere

Due to a dispute between Harrison and Fanatics, the public has yet to see any official merchandise involving Harrison. The NFL has even gone above and beyond to deny fans access to any loopholes they may find.

When news broke that Harrison and his representative were refusing Fanatics’ use of his name, image, and likeness, many fans thought creating a custom jersey online and ordering it through the NFL shop would be the perfect workaround. Unfortunately, though, the NFL caught wind and immediately stopped it.

The whole situation stems from the No. 4 overall pick and Fanatics’ ongoing legal dispute about the contract details and whether or not there is one in place.

However, in May, Ian Rapoport reported that since Harrison officially signed his rookie contract with the Arizona Cardinals, he has become part of the NFLPA’s group licensing agreement, which means his jersey can now be officially sold.

Things have taken a turn, though, as Rapoport announced that the NFLPA has now advised the NFL, Arizona Cardinals, and Fanatics that they are still not permitted to sell Harrison’s jerseys.

As the situation continues to drag on for months now, there still does not seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

It would be a bit of an understatement to say that the Cardinals’ passing offense was lackluster last year.

They finished with the seventh least passing yards (3.430), ninth least passing touchdowns (18), fourth worst yards per attempt (6.2), and fourth least throws of 20 plus yards (38).

That’s why it did not shock most that Arizona spent the fourth overall pick on Harrison, whom they hope will turn into a generational talent.

If not, it will be back to the drawing board for the Cardinals, who have not made the playoffs since 2021.
