After a lengthy layoff, Joy Taylor relaunched the Two Personal podcast, but this time without Taylor Rooks.
The FS1 host relaunched the podcast three months after she was named as a defendant in a workplace misconduct lawsuit, and she hasn’t held back when discussing her private life.
The 38-year-old, who has never been afraid to speak her mind, was sidelined from ‘Speak’ on FS1 earlier this year, but now she is back and diving right into her podcast content.
Fellow sportscaster Taylor Rooks had co-hosted the Two Personal Show with Taylor during its first season but began to appear less frequently as the year unfolded.
She quietly stepped away, and no reason was given for her departure. It would be months before Joy Taylor was announced as part of a lawsuit.
There is no word on if that information came out behind the scenes, and Rooks separated herself immediately.
This week, Taylor posted a clip of her latest podcast with special guest Demario SYMBA Driver. He is known for Space Jam: A New Legacy, Freaky Tales, and the Immediately Kinfolk Podcast.
In the clip, Joy Taylor spoke on a time in which a former boyfriend cheated on her with an exotic dancer while using money she had given him.
To make matters worse, the unnamed guy did not have a job and played games all day while she paid all the bills.
Joy Taylor’s Lawsuit Gets Major Update
Three months after news broke of the bombshell workplace misconduct lawsuit implicating several current and former Fox Sports employees, it now appears the case is headed for a settlement.
According to Front Office Sports, the network was in mediation with former hairstylist Noushin Faraji.
Faraji filed a lawsuit in California against the network, former “Undisputed” host Skip Bayless, current FS1 host Joy Taylor, and now-former Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon.
“While the parties did not resolve at mediation, they are continuing to engage in settlement discussions with the mediator,” the filing said, according to Front Office Sports. “The parties believe that to preserve resources, it would be beneficial to hold off on the Initial Status Conference pending completing settlement negotiations.”
