NFL Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over The Top 10 Quarterback Ratings For Madden 25

Brace yourselves: NFL fans are going crazy over EA Sports’ ratings for the top 10 NFL quarterbacks in Madden 25,

Passionate football fans always love a good debate, and few things stir the pot among the NFL internet community more than EA Sports’ player ratings for the Madden NFL video games. On Friday, they unveiled the early quarterback ratings for Madden 25.

Unsurprisingly, Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes claimed the top spot with a 99 rating. Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson is a 98, with Joe Burrow (93), Josh Allen (92), Dak Prescott (90), TuaTagovailoa (88), Justin Herbert (87), Jalen Hurts (86), Brock Purdy (85) and Kirk Cousins (84) rounding out the top 10:

And as we warned you about, social media was losing their minds over the Madden 25 NFL quarterback ratings:

The ratings for Aaron Rodgers (83), Jared Goff (82) and CJ Stroud (81) are certainly questionable at best. Rodgers missed all but a couple of minutes last season, but he’s still a four-time MVP and undoubtedly a top-10 QB in football.

Goff and Stroud each put together MVP-like seasons in 2023 and guided their respective teams to the postseason. Even if Madden 25 developers don’t view them as top-10 QBs, they certainly have to be graded higher than the low 80s.

But keep in mind that EA Sports always changes up the player ratings throughout the NFL season. So if guys like Goff and Stroud produce like they did last year, both will surely land in the ’90s club.

Madden 25 Will Be Released In 2 Weeks

The highly-anticipated Madden 25 video game will be released on Aug. 16, less than three weeks before the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens kick off the 204 NFL season on Sept. 5.

San Francisco 49ers star running back and reigning rushing champion Christian McCaffrey is on the cover for this year’s installment
