“Are Kelce and Swift on a break?”: NFL fans react to Morgan Wallen wearing Harrison Butker’s Chiefs number at KC concert

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have gone viral for their surprise appearance at Morgan Wallen’s concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The two KC Chiefs stars walked out together with Wallen, the crowd cheering for them.

However, Wallen also went viral for his outfit. Wearing a No. 7 jersey, fans were quick to connect it to Harrison Butker, who wears the same number for the Chiefs. The name on Wallen’s t-shirt, however, was his own.

Butker has been in the news for his controversial comments at Benedictine College, drawing in criticism for his views on women, pregnancy and the LGBTQ+ community.

NFL fans were quick to react, some wondering how Taylor Swift (now dating Travis Kelce) could allow her boyfriend to do this.

“Wtf, are him and Swift on a break?” one fan wondered.

“Surprised Taylor Swift allowed Travis to be apart of that,” one user added.

“Did Taylor Swift allow Travis to be a part of that?” one fan asked.

“No way Taylor approved of this 🤣” another fan wrote.

Other fans, however, called for everyone to stop idolizing celebrities.

“We need to stop idolizing people who sold their soul for fame and fortune,” one fan wrote.

“Kelce’s apology coming soon,” another fan predicted.

“Ummmm, Kelce, not sure, instincts are floating a weird vibe on this,” one user said.

That being said, Wallen custom-made his jersey for the Kansas City concert at Arrowhead Stadium. While the same as Butker’s number, No. 7 is what Wallen chose for baseball at Gibbs High School in Corryton, Tennessee.
