Former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a major slide in the NFL Draft.
Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft arrived, and Sanders was still on the board. The all-time great Colorado quarterback threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns last season while completing a career-high 74 percent of his passes.
There were talks that he would go in the top 3 to 5 picks, but it never happened.
Few were surprised when former Miami quarterback Cam Ward went No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans, but four quarterbacks with seemingly subpar abilities followed as Sanders remained untaken.
Fans even thought this entire process was intentional and possibly racist in a way.
Now, fans of Shedeur Sanders are fighting back.
Many fans on TikTok are essentially boycotting the NFL shop and pledging to purchase Shedeur Sanders’ jerseys and merchandise exclusively from his official website. This could put millions of dollars in Sanders’ hands.
Shedeur Sanders Has A Lot of Work To Do

The Cleveland Browns drafted Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round of the NFL draft after falling significantly from projected rankings.
Having passed on Sanders with the last pick of the fourth round, choosing instead to draft Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, the Browns traded up to snatch Sanders with the sixth selection of the fifth round.
The Browns’ quarterback situation is crowded, with Sanders joining Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel.
He has a lot of work to put in to make his way up the depth chart.
For now, Joe Flacco is the starter. There is a chance that Deshaun Watson could play this year, but the front office has already made it known that they made a mistake in trading for him.
For now, Sanders might be low on the totem pole, but his future could be quite bright.
