President Donald Trump had to cut his speech short and was rushed from the podium due to a ‘medical emergency’.

The incident happened when Trump swore in Dr. Mehmet Oz as the new administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

As things were wrapping up, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt urged reporters to leave the room, quickly.

The live broadcast was cut, leaving many concerned for the president.

As reported by FOX News, Dr. Oz’s granddaughter, 11-year-old Philomena collapsed during the proceedings.

During the incident, Trump stepped back from the podium mic, to assess the situation.

Oz’s daughter could be heard screaming “Philo fainted, Philo fainted. Dad, go!”

White House aides encouraged photographers to leave the room, with some shouting  “Get out right now” and “No photos.”

A White House spokesperson later addressed the emergency: “A minor family member fainted during Dr. Oz’s swearing-in ceremony in the Oval Office. We are happy to say she is okay.”

We wish her a fast recovery.
