President Donald Trump wants the Kansas City Chiefs to celebrate their Super Bowl win.
The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t the only team invited to the White House this year for winning the Super Bowl against the Chiefs.
President Trump told Outkick that he plans to invite the Chiefs to Washington to celebrate their win in Super Bowl 54 five years ago.
Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers for its second championship in franchise history after the 2019 season. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the team never had the chance to go to the White House to celebrate the win.
After his proclamation, Trump did not provide an official date for his invitation to the Chiefs during his interview.
“We’re gonna have the Kansas City Chiefs after that because they missed their turn because of COVID,” Trump told OutKick the Show.

The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers at a game played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in February 2020.
Less than a month later, the entire world and the sports world were shut down.
Will The Kansas City Chiefs Show Up?

A lot has changed in five years, and the Chiefs’ roster looks vastly different from what it did in 2019.
While they did not win this year’s Super Bowl, the Chiefs have been invited to the White House.
Tyreek Hill was on that team but has been part of the Dolphins for three years now.
The Chiefs were unable to make their White House visit at the time due to the COVID-19 pandemic but now he wants to make it up to the team.
The team has not confirmed the news, and it is unclear whether the team would actually go since so many are no longer on the squad.
