Carrie Underwood and Husband Mike Fisher Have Red Carpet Date Night Together for the First Time in 2 Years

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are back on the red carpet.

On Wednesday, March 19, the country singer, 42, was joined by her husband, 44, for a glam date night to the Opry 100: A Live Celebration in Nashville.

The American Idol winner opted for a strapless black gown with a sheer overlay and metallic beaded details. She added matching black drop earrings and wore her blonde hair in a straight style tucked behind her ears. Fisher, meanwhile, kept it classic in a dark suit.

The star-studded live special, hosted by Blake Shelton, celebrates the iconic Nashville venue and its impact on country music over the past century. In a teaser clip, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Brad Paisley, Barbara Mandrell, Luke Combs and Bill Anderson share the significance of the event.

“You just walk into the Opry House and you feel the history and the richness of the stories and the people that have made country music what it is,” Ballerini, 31, says in the video.

“Getting to be here and standing on the stage that everyone has dreamed of standing 1 million times, and getting to stay you’re a part of that, is a badge of honor,” Combs, 35, adds.

Underwood took the stage during the event, with fellow performers including Shelton, Urban, Ballerini, Paisley, Combs, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce Clint Black, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Jamey Johnson, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Marty Stuart, Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs, Steven Curtis Chapman, Terri Clark, Trace Adkins, Travis Tritt, Trisha Yearwood and Vince Gill.

Underwood and Fisher, who married in 2010 and share two sons, last appeared together on a red carpet at the 56th annual CMA Awards in November 2022.

The “Before He Cheats” singer wore a flowing blue gown featuring several textured fabrics, off-the-shoulder sleeves and a high leg slit. The former NHL star looked dapper in a deep blue suit with a white shirt, black tie and black shoes.

At the ceremony, Underwood was nominated for three awards – entertainer of the year, female vocalist of the year, and musical event of the year alongside Jason Aldean (for “If I Didn’t Love You”).
