On Thursday, it was reported that golf legend Tiger Woods is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
Natasha Dye and Elizabeth Rosner of People reported on Tiger Woods’ new romance. The report states that Woods and the 47-year-old Vanessa Trump “have been quietly dating for several months.”
Obviously, any relationship involving Woods and/or a Trump family member will attract significant media attention. But the Woods-Trump romance is even more fascinating considering that the PGA star has been friends with President Donald Trump for many years.
According to the same report from People, Donald Trump Jr. is “cool” with his ex-wife dating the biggest name in the history of the sport.
Trump Jr. and Vanessa were married for 13 years, from 2005 to 2018, before divorcing and had five children together. Don Jr., the oldest of President Trump’s five kids, later had a relationship with Kimberly Guilfoyle that ended last year.
Woods was asked about his relationship with Donald Trump back in 2018 but stayed away from discussing the political aspect. The 49-year-old said at the time, “You have to respect the office,” regardless of who’s in charge.
Trump has countless connections in the golf industry, owning more than a dozen courses around the world. As such, Woods and many other prominent golfers have developed close ties and friendships with Trump, some that go back decades.
Tiger Woods’ Past Relationships

Tiger Woods was married to model Elin Nordegren from 2004 to 2010, and they had two children together. Their marriage began to deteriorate in late 2009 after stunning news emerged of Woods’ cheating scandal.
Woods later dated Olympic gold medalist and skier Lindsey Vonn from 2013 to 2015 and had a five-year relationship with Erica Herman that ended in 2022.
