Boxing Legend Mike Tyson Reveals Who He’s Voting For In 2024 U.S. Presidential Election

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has revealed his voting intentions for the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election.

Mike Tyson is among the many high-profile athletes who offered their support for Donald Trump in the 2020 election. Trump, who was seeking reelection. wound up losing to Joe Biden.

Biden stunned the world by announcing last week that he will not seek reelection when his term ends. Though the Democratic Party has yet to announce a final decision, Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to be the nominee running against Trump.

During an appearance on the “Ebro in the Morning Podcast” with Ebro Darden, Laura Stylez and Pete Rosenberg, Mike Tyson made it perfectly clear who he’ll be voting for in this year’s election:

“I’m voting for Trump, so what’s somebody gonna do about it? So what,” Tyson said.

Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the presidential race makes him the first U.S. president not to seek reelection since Lyndon Johnson in 1968. That year, Republican nominee Richard Nixon went on to defeat Democrat Hubert Humphrey in a close race.

If Trump wins this year’s election, he’ll become just the second U.S. president to serve two non-consecutive terms. Grover Cleveland remains the only president in history to have done so, serving from 1885 to 1889 and 1893 to 1897. Benjamin Harrison was in office between Cleveland’s two terms.

Mike Tyson retired from professional boxing in 2005, though he returned in 2020 to face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match that ended in a split draw. Tyson will face Jake Paul on Nov. 15 in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
