Chiefs Heiress Gracie Hunt Reflects on ‘Painful’ Month After Team’s Blowout Super Bowl Loss

Gracie Hunt is feeling reflective after a whirlwind month.

The daughter of Kansas City Chiefs‘ owner and CEO Clark Hunt took to Instagram on Feb. 27 to share a recap of the past month, which she dubbed “The February Files.” The gallery of photos included snaps from various events she attended leading up to the 2025 Super Bowl.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, the Chiefs were on the road towards a historic “three-peat” at this year’s Super Bowl, however, they ended up losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in a blowout score of 40-22.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, Hunt, 25, shared in her caption that she’s “feeling thankful for every moment that shapes life’s beautiful mosaic,” including “the tough, the painful, the joyful, and everything in between.”

“Most of all, I’m grateful for the incredible people who make it all worthwhile,” she continued in the caption.

In another exclusive interview with PEOPLE on Jan. 16, Hunt opened up about being the Chiefs’ “No. 1 fan” and using her platform as Miss Kansas USA to “help shape the Kansas City Chiefs community into what it is today.”

“The things that have been really important to me my whole life have been faith, family, football and philanthropy,” Hunt said at the time. “Because I’ve always been raised with the mantra that, ‘To whom much is given, much is expected’.”

“When it comes to the Chiefs, there’s no ‘I’ in ‘team,'” she continued. “I’d say the beauty about our family organization is that there’s a place for everyone. I am certainly so fulfilled by all the things that I have created for myself opportunity-wise outside of football. But it’s been a pleasure to be of some part of something that’s greater than myself, to serve where there’s room and need and to be their number one fan.”
