President Donald Trump Is Getting Blasted Over His Selfish And “Wasteful” Act At The Daytona 500

United States President Donald Trump has been slammed for what’s been perceived as a selfish act at the Daytona 500.

Trump, who became the first sitting President to attend a Super Bowl last Sunday, has shown up at another major sporting event, taking in some motorsports with the NFL season now over.

He is now being accused of wasting taxpayers’ money by flying over the race and riding on the track while certain states remain submerged following torrential rain.

“Glad Trump had the chance to waste millions of taxpayer dollars to fly over the Daytona 500 and then ride The Beast on the track as parts of West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Tennessee are underwater. Priorities,” MeidasTouch wrote in an X post.

“Donald Trump is at the Daytona 500 today and took a lap around the track in his motorcade. WHERE IS DOGE? This cost millions to do. Where is the cutting of wasteful spending????? First the Super Bowl and now this??” Harry Sisson posted.

As expected, Trump feels differently and has made claims of bringing America back in less than four weeks.

“Our country is doing well again, and we have spirit all over the world. We brought it back, and it’s been less than four weeks,” he told FOX Sports.

Donald Trump Gave A Shout Out To The Drivers

The POTUS also had a message for the NASCAR drivers participating in the event, letting them know he’s a big fan as he wished them all well.

“This is your favorite President. I’m a big fan,” he declared. “I am a really big fan of you people that you do this. I don’t know, but I just want you to be safe. You’re talented people, and you’re great people, and great Americans. Have a good day. Have a lot of fun, and I’ll see you later.”

The Daytona 500 was delayed due to a storm, which is expected to ease up on Sunday evening.

As for Trump, he’s making his presence felt everywhere. But let’s hope he doesn’t step on anyone’s shoes by the end of the day.
