Bears QB Caleb Williams Had The Perfect Reaction To News Of Superstar WR DJ Moore’s Massive Contract Extension (PIC)

Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams had an epic reaction to the news of DJ Moore’s lucrative contract extension.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday evening that the superstar wide receiver agreed to a four-year extension with the Bears worth $110 million, of which $82.6 million is guaranteed. And perhaps no one was happier with the news than Caleb Williams himself.

On his Instagram story, the first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft shared the post of Moore’s extension with a caption that read, “Every dinner on bro now saylesss” with two laughing emojis:

Moore set career highs across the board in his first season with the Bears, racking up 96 receptions for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns. The 27-year-old came over to Chicago as part of the trade with the Carolina Panthers, who moved up to select Bryce Young first overall in 2023.

The Panthers finished with football’s worst record in 2023, and their first-round pick this year went to the Bears. Incredibly, the Bears have managed to turn this haul into DJ Moore and Caleb Williams.

The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner can look forward to a tandem of Moore and the promising Rome Odunze (the No. 9 pick in this year’s draft) long-term. And to think he also has Keenan Allen (acquired from the Los Angeles Chargers) for at least one year.

Caleb Williams Should Produce Right Away

Williams has two of the league’s best wide receivers in DJ Moore and Keenan Allen, and yet Odunze has a real good chance of emerging as Chicago’s new WR1 here in 2024. That’s three capable 1,000-yard receivers right there for Williams.

Through in tight end Cole Kmet and the rushing duo of D’Andre Swift and Khalil Herbert, and it’s hard not to get excited about the potential of this Bears offense. He may be a rookie, but there’s no excuse for Williams to disappoint in 2204 with a supporting cast like this.
