NFL Fans Had All Sorts Of Jokes After Video Leaked Of Dak Prescott & Trey Lance Totally Embarrassing Themselves During Passing Drill At Cowboys Camp

NFL fans are in stitches after a new video surfaced of Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Trey Lance struggling during an accuracy drill at practice.

Prescott is entering the fourth and final year of a $160 million extension he signed in 2021, while Lance is about to commence year two with the Dallas Cowboys. The No. 3 pick of the 2021 NFL Draft didn’t see a single snap last year.

The @NFLHateMemes X/Twitter account posted a video of Prescott and Lance working on their accuracy by attempting to drop the football into a net from a distance. Needless to say, the man on ball-fetching duties sure had to earn his paycheck:

And social media had a field day teeing off on the Cowboys’ signal-callers for their lackluster performances in the accuracy drill:

Social media will never pass up on an opportunity to roast the Dallas Cowboys, but supporters of America’s Team needn’t read too much into this. Prescott’s 67.0 career completion percentage is the fourth-best mark ever, behind only Joe Burrow (68.0), Drew Brees (67.7) and Jimmy Garoppolo (67.4), per Pro Football Reference.

The 31-year-old Prescott is coming off the best statistical season of his career in which he finished with a 69.5 completion percentage for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns against nine interceptions. He finished second in MVP voting behind Lamar Jackson.

Dak Prescott & The Dallas Cowboys Open 2024 Season At Cleveland Browns

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a third straight 12-win season, but they only have one playoff victory to show for it in that period. The pressure is on the likes of Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy to deliver, otherwise owner Jerry Jones may actually bring sweeping changes to the organization for once.

Dallas will open their 2024 season with a Week 1 road game against the Myles Garrett-led Cleveland Browns. This game will also mark Tom Brady’s debut as an NFL analyst for FOX Sports.
