Eagles Fan Fired From His Job After Vile Rant At Female Packers Fan Goes Viral, Releases Statement

A Philadelphia Eagles is facing the serious consequences of his actions after he was filmed screaming derogatory things at a female Packers fan during last Sunday’s NFC Wild Card Game at Lincoln Financial Field.

During the playoff game, Packer fan Alexander Basara posted a clip on Twitter/X of an Eagles fan heckling his fiancée, who was decked out in Packers gear. The video shows the Eagles fan yelling terrible things at her.

On Tuesday, Eagles report Derrick Gunn reported that an Eagles head of security ‘Big Dom’ identified the man involved, and he is currently banned from future Eagles games.

But that’s not all.

The man was also connected to the New Jersey consulting firm, BCT Partners, which issued a statement late Tuesday revealing that they were the man’s employers that and he would no longer be working with the company.

“The language was vile, it was disgusting, it was unacceptable and horrific,” BCT Partners founder Randal Pinkett told NBC News about the fan, who has been identified as Ryan Caldwell, a business analyst with a specialty in information technology.

Caldwell released this statement to the New York Post:

“While attending an NFL game last Sunday to support my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, an incident occurred that I deeply regret,” Caldwell said. “What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable. In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller.

“I want to sincerely apologize to Ms. Keller for those words, and to my wife, family, and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and all who were offended. That said, there are two sides to every story. The video clip circulating online does not reflect the full context of what transpired, and my actions were not without provocation. I will live with this experience, and I am certainly paying a personal price. For those who don’t know me, this incident does not reflect my values or the respect I have for others and is not indicative of the person I am.”

The Eagles will play the Los Angeles Rams at home on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round at 3:00 p.m. ET. Let’s hope we can avoid any more of these horrible fan altercations.
