NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes have officially welcomed their third child, a beautiful baby girl named Golden Raye Mahomes.

The couple announced Golden’s birth a day late via Instagram, sharing a sneak peek of their newest family addition in a black and white photo that depicted her proud parents’ hands holding her tiny feet over a wooden sign of her name.

The new baby officially makes the Mahomes a family of five. Baby Golden joins two older siblings: big sister Sterling Skye Mahomes, who turns 4 in February 2025, and big brother Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who celebrated his second birthday in November 2024.

Brittany, 29, and Patrick, 29, first announced the news of their baby on the way in July 2024, revealing via Instagram that they would be expanding their family with another bundle of joy.

“Round three, here we come 🤍,” the married couple wrote on Instagram at the time.

Before Golden’s birth, Patrick told reporters that he promised Brittany he would help the Chiefs earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC, which would guarantee them home-field advantage during the playoffs.

“I told my wife—my pregnant wife—I was gonna get her the No. 1 seed so we can go have that baby,” the athlete said after the Chiefs’ victory on Christmas Day. “We got the 1 seed.”

Brittany, who was watching the Dec. 25 game from home with her kids, shared a photo of her husband in response to his comment about earning the No. 1 seed.

“Always keeping his promises,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
