Regardless of the sideline exchange and its optics, Allen delivered a spectacular performance on the field, one that cemented his status as a game-changer.

Early in the game, Denver’s defense managed to quiet the Buffalo Bills’ big plays, keeping the score tight through the first half. However, as the NFL highlighted, “You can only keep down Allen for so long.”
With his trademark resilience, Allen began to dismantle the Broncos’ defense with precision and power. One of the pivotal moments came on a fourth-and-one at Denver’s 24-yard line.

Allen extended the play, moving like a “civil engineer” as he assessed his options before delivering a flawless pass to Ty Johnson, who made an equally impressive catch, in the back of the end zone.
From there, the game opened up. On the very next drive, Allen launched a deep 55-yard strike to Curtis Samuel for a showstopping touchdown.

As the Denver Broncos struggled to respond, Allen connected with Dalton Kincaid on a 35-yard pass, further driving the Bills’ domination.
After being limited to just 69 passing yards in the first half, Allen’s second-half explosion saw him shred the Broncos’ defense, finishing the game with 272 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a near-perfect 135.4 passer rating.

He completed 20 of his 26 passes, a performance as efficient as it was electrifying. The Bills, who had trailed 7-0 early, went on to score 31 unanswered points. As ESPN concluded, when Allen is in rhythm, no defense — no matter how formidable — can withstand his impact.

Allen continues to cement his legacy as one of the NFL’s most versatile and impactful quarterbacks. Standing tall at 6’5″ and weighing 237 pounds, the Buffalo Bills star has proven himself as both a passing and rushing threat, capable of dominating defenses with his dual-threat abilities.
Now in his seventh season with the team, Allen’s remarkable skill set has made him a cornerstone of the Bills’ success.
Over the past three seasons, Allen has been a fantasy football powerhouse, leading all quarterbacks with an average of 24.7 fantasy points per game.
While 2024 presented some challenges — most notably the departures of key receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis — Allen adapted by utilizing new weapons like Curtis Samuel and rookie Keon Coleman, who were added to the Buffalo Bills roster in the offseason.
Despite a slight dip in passing yardage last season, Allen’s knack for finding the end zone kept him at the top of the quarterback rankings. His 15 rushing touchdowns in 2024 showcased his ability to impact the game with his legs, further highlighting his versatility.
As Josh Allen continues to evolve, he remains firmly on the QB1 radar, with his exceptional athleticism and football IQ making him a nightmare for opposing defenses.
