Fans Across The Globe Are Furious Over The New Uniforms Being Worn By Women’s Olympic Beach Volleyball Players

Controversy is swirling over women’s beach volleyball at the Olympics, and it has nothing to do with the actual competition.

The best Olympic uniforms for the Summer 2024 games include kits from Ralph Lauren, Puma, J. Lindeberg, Lululemon, and many more.

When the ladies hit the sand for some stiff competition in volleyball, they were doing so in some new threads.

Match after match showed that the days of traditional skimpy bikinis were over, as players were rocking supportive athletic gear, such as sports bras and yoga pants.

The new threads eliminated the likelihood of a wardrobe malfunction or camera angles having women with their butts hanging out of their bottoms as they jumped around in the sand for some competitive volleyball.

A lot of people praised this new look:

However, not everybody was thrilled to see the new threads. Many couldn’t believe they waited four years to see women scantily clad only to find out they were all covered up.

United States Women’s Beach Volleyball Duo Wins Second Olympic Match

For the people who still care about the sport without mentioning what the ladies are wearing, the United States women’s volleyball team is moving on to the next round.

U.S. beach volleyball duo Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss, who were the subject of the above viral tweet on yoga pants being worn instead of bikinis, defeated Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho of Australia in straight sets as they took the early lead in Pool B, per ESPN.

The two are out to a 2-0 start after they previously took down Canada’s Sophie Bukovec and Heather Bansley in straight sets as well.

The beach volleyball duo will compete in multiple rounds of competition in hopes of making it to the final round for gold.
