Cameras caught the epic reactions of Washington Commanders broadcasters Bram Weinstein and London Fletcher in the booth after Zane Gonzalez booted the game-winning field goal in Sunday’s playoff tilt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Zane Gonzalez made a 37-yard field goal on the final play of Sunday’s Wild Card Round to clinch a 23-20 victory for the Commanders. The game marks Washington’s first playoff victory since the 2005 NFC Wild Card Round that was right here at Raymond James Stadium.
And let’s just say that Weinstein absolutely aced the biggest call of his young career as Washington’s play-by-play radio announcer. Fletcher’s repeated fist pumps and follow-up comment to Weinstein’s call made it even sweeter:

Fletcher, who won a Super Bowl 34 ring with the St. Louis Rams in the 1990 season, played for Washington from 2007 to 2013. They made the playoffs twice (2007 and 2012) but never won a postseason game with the star linebacker.
But with just one lucky doink and kick, Zane Gonzalez finally ended nearly two decades of misery for Washington fans. Up next, they’ll visit the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in the Divisional Round on Saturday.
Zane Gonzalez Helps Keep Washington’s Dream Season Going
Almost nobody had Washington making the postseason at the start of 2024, let alone finish with a 12-5 record (their best mark since 1991). But Jayden Daniels and Zane Gonzalez kept the feel-good story going with a thrilling road win in Tampa Bay, and one shall be careful betting against them in Detroit.
