Mike Tomlin will eventually head to the Hall of Fame as a head coach, but many are questioning him right now after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost yet again in the postseason.
Dating back to 2016, the Steelers would make it to the NFC championship game and lose to the Patriots. That year would mark their final playoff win for quite some time.
The team has now lost six straight postseason games, including Saturday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Pittsburgh’s sixth consecutive playoff loss and fifth straight loss to end the season have left a bad taste in everybody’s mouth.
Despite what many people might think of Mike Tomlin, the franchise is standing behind him.
It was reported on Sunday that the Steelers will not be firing him.

Mike Tomlin Has Never Had A Losing Season, But The Playoffs Are Entirely Different
Tomlin has had a non-losing season in every year he’s coached the Steelers, but despite all of that regular-season success, it has not translated to postseason success over the last 15 seasons.
Tomlin took over the Steelers’ head coaching job in 2007 and won a Super Bowl one year later.
Going to the playoffs every year or much of the time would be great for a much lesser franchise, but in Pittsburgh, it is all about playoff success and Super Bowl wins.
Playoff success hasn’t come quite as easily for Tomlin’s Steelers.
Mike Tomlin has coached in a total of 19 NFL playoff games and has an 8-11 record.
