Boise State star running back Ashton Jeanty is bound for the NFL after a Heisman-worthy season in which he put up some incredible numbers. And he knows exactly where he wants to play.
The Broncos standout is among the top names headed to the 2025 NFL Draft and is very likely to be a first-round selection, with several running back-needy teams looking to make a splash.
Still, he only wants one team and has called on them to come get him.
The 21-year-old, who played his high school football in Frisco, Texas, had already expressed a belief that he could be a “hometown hero” if drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, a team he reckons would be a “perfect fit” for his game.
He reiterated that desire this weekend after signing with Disruptive Sports.
“I would love to play for the Cowboys it would be like a dream come true,” he said.

Jeanty also pointed out that Dallas always plays better when they have a good running back. And, if we’re to go by this season, there’s plenty of merit in the claim, given the team’s torrid record after employing the worst run game in the league.
Ashton Jeanty’s College Numbers Suggest He Would Be A Stud In The NFL
Jeanty does seem the sort of player who would help improve Dallas. He rushed for 2,288 yards and 28 touchdowns on a remarkable 28 yards per carry for Boise State last season.
He totaled 4,769 yards and 50 scores, adding another 862 yards and six TDs from the air in college.
