While stepping out in New York City for a dinner date with boyfriend Travis Kelce and pals Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff on Friday, Dec. 27, the pop superstar, 35, gave a masterclass in date-night dressing. The main event? A tweed Stella McCartney blazer with a glittery twist.
For the double date at BondST Restaurant, a Japanese spot, Swift sparkled in the designer’s hand-embroidered Crystal Cage Oversized Blazer, which retails for $5,500.

The wool, double-breasted blazer from McCartney’s Fall 2024 collection evokes ‘80s officewear with its boxy silhouette, courtesy of padded shoulders, especially when paired with the matching pencil skirt.
The singer-songwriter, however, put a modern twist on the beige blazer by styling it with a chic and nearly all-black look.
She layered the oversized jacket over what appeared to be either a black mini dress or mini skirt and matching top, allowing the beige to pop — particularly next to her NFL star boyfriend, 35, who rocked a cardigan in a similar shade.
The 14-time Grammy winner tied in the blazer’s unique trim — a large chunk of crystalline cage paneling — and added in a touch more texture with her sheer black tights, detailed with a similar, diamond-like pattern.

Swift teamed the look with black heeled ankle boots and added a bit more sparkle by accessorizing with Versace’s Crystal La Medusa Mini Bag.
The boxy, crystal-embellished mini handbag features the Italian fashion house’s La Medusa hardware — another Reputation (Taylor’s Version) nod, perhaps? — and retails for $3,490.
In a subtle (and very Swiftian) pop of color, the singer rocked a muted, red-orange lip, and wore her hair down in a simple style with her iconic, wind-swept side bangs front and center.

Kelce, meanwhile, evoked athlete-meets-dark academia with his ensemble for the N.Y.C. double date. While holding Swift’s hand throughout the night, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end rocked a heathered, beige cardigan, which he layered over a striped black T-shirt.

To complete the date-night look, Kelce teamed his sweater and shirt with classic trousers and brown dress shoes, as well as a pair of black glasses, a chain and a baseball cap.
Swift’s longtime friend and collaborator Antonoff, 40, also went casual for the dinner outing, sporting a yellow zip-up, a black puffer jacket and blue jeans. Meanwhile, his wife, The Substance’s Qualley, 30, looked elevated and sleek in a maroon coat and black tights.
