I told my wife I was gonna get her the No. 1 seed so we can go have that baby. So, we got the one seed.

Travis Kelce accompanied Mahomes for the interview. The star tight end, who caught eight passes and scored one of the touchdowns, clapped hard after Mahomes spoke about his promise.

When will Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have their baby?

On 11th July 2024, Brittany Mahomes shocked her fans by revealing that she was close to being three months pregnant. She and Patrick made it Instagram official with cute pictures. Of course, she couldn’t leave out her two precious kids, daughter Sterling Mahomes and son Bronze Mahomes.

About a week later, after the initial announcement, the Mahomes family found the cutest way to reveal the gender of their child. Sterling and Bronze played Tic Tac Toe, and as a reward, the siblings found out they would be having a little sister very soon.

As months flew by, the 29-year-old former soccer player uploaded several pictures, championing her baby bump with pride. The date was set somewhere between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, so, Chiefs clinching the AFC No. 1 Seed only put the icing on the cake.

The result improved the Chiefs’ record to 15-1. They will remain on the road, and the destination is Denver, where they will play divisional rivals, the 9-6 Denver Broncos, a team that wants to play postseason football for the first time since 2015.

The Broncos are currently third in the AFC West. They lost their previous NFL fixture against divisional rivals the Los Angeles Chargers, and before playing the Chiefs for the finale they must defeat the 7-8 Cincinnati Bengals in Ohio to even think about the wild card.
