Travis and Jason Kelce had a hilarious reaction to a video of ‘them’ at an Eras Tour event in Vancouver last week. Swift’s epic tour ended on Sunday night in Canada, following 149 events that began in March 2023.
Travis played for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and Jason was on ESPN duty in Dallas on Monday. But they were nevertheless present in spirit owing to two fans and their inventive outfits for the concert, which received a lot of attention on social media.
Video footage from the concert shows two fans dressed as the Kelce brothers wandering around the standing section. One features a huge belly, a bushy beard, and a Philadelphia Eagles jersey to resemble Jason, while the other has a mustache and a Chiefs jersey to represent Travis.
A video of the two fans was shown to the brothers on the most recent episode of the New Heights podcast, and their reactions were amusing. Travis stated, ‘Well Jason, we were sighted in Vancouver for the last leg on the Eras Tour.’ A perplexed Jason said, ‘Vancouver? I was not in Vancouver.’
Travis continued, “Yeah, you were. Look at that belly and that beard, guy. Jason then hilariously interrupted: “Oh, what the f***!” I’m not fat. That’s not how I look. Travis answered, suppressing laughter, “I wonder if Tay saw them in the stands.” If you witness that, you’ll lose your composure. If you’re in the middle of a song and you notice them strolling about.
Jason then concluded: “I would lose it.” “I love that one lady went moustache-era Travis. “This is a full-on handcrafted jersey. How do you even manufacture that? That is pressed on the letters and numbers. There was a lot of work put into it. They probably had a great time.’
Travis was also full of praise for his girlfriend after her ‘crazy’ tour ended last week, which grossed a staggering $2.2 billion over nearly two years, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time for the second year in a row. The global event began March 17, 2023, in Arizona. Sunday’s presentation in Canada marked the 149th Eras performance, following stops in Buenos Aires, Paris, and Tokyo.
Swift was already on tour when she started publicly dating Travis, an NFL player and three-time Super Bowl winner for the Kansas City Chiefs, around the end of 2023. Kelce has attended 14 gigs and flown on private jets to watch his girlfriend’s concerts in Singapore, Australia, and Germany. He even performed on stage for one song in London.
It has obviously been a family affair. His brother Jason, his wife Kylie, and their three daughters have all been spotted at events as the family adjusts to their newfound popularity. Speaking on New Heights this week, the first show after the Eras Tour’s conclusion, Travis said: ‘Shoutout to Tay, and the unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end.’
