VIDEO: New York Giants Fan Uses Plane Over Metlife Stadium To Deliver Harsh Message To Team Owner John Mara

The New York Giants are one of the most difficult-to-watch teams in the NFL this season. Some would argue that except for a playoff appearance where they would beat the Vikings in the 2023 NFL playoffs, owner John Mara has struggled to create any success with the team at all.

The team is not at all successful in 2024, as they have officially let go of former starting quarterback Daniel Jones after they held on to him for too long. They had extended Jones via a 4 year, $160 million contract, causing the team to let go of 2024 MVP candidate Saquon Barkley this off-season.

As if things couldn’t get any worse for Mara’s team, the Giants currently sit last in the NFC East, with a record of just 2 wins and ten losses on the season. Their only bright spot is former LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers.

It seems that the Giants fans are already fed up with the Giants’ failure this season, and they are taking drastic measures as one Giants fan decided to send a message to owner John Mara with a plane flyover at Metlife during pregame today.

New York Giants Owner John Mara Asked To “Fix This Dumpster Fire”

Today, One hired a plane to fly over the New York Giants stadium carrying a message for Giants owner John Mara. “Mr. Mara enough – plz fix this dumpster fire,” the sign read, and many fans agreed with the message.

John Mara has owned the New York Giants since his father’s passing, taking over the team in 2005. The Mara family has held the ownership title of the Giants franchise since its inception in 1925 when Tim Mara founded the team for $500. He would own the team till his passing in 1959.

John Mara has been with the team through several Super Bowls, and it’s unlikely that he will sell the team. But fans are tired of the poor management decisions and are calling on Mara to fix the “dumpster fire” of a franchise. The question is, how will he do it?
