Patrick Mahomes fired back at the Raiders for trolling him with Kermit the frog doll

Patrick Mahomes’ voice has been compared to the Kermit doll previously.

Patrick Mahomes surely wasn’t lying when he said he had entered his villain era as he gave a befitting reply to the Las Vegas Raiders for disrespecting him.

It’s no surprise that the teams across the league hate the Kansas City Chiefs and their superstar quarterback, especially since he led the Chiefs to six consecutive AFC championship games and three Super Bowl victories in the last five years. However, the Raiders seemed to have crossed the line while trash-talking the current face of the NFL using a Kermit the Frog puppet.

A video went viral from the opening day of the Raiders’ training camp, where safety Trey Taylor can be seen mocking the three-time Super Bowl champion by dressing the frog puppet as him.

When Mahomes was asked about it at the Chiefs’ training camp press conference this Friday, he of course didn’t seem too pleased by it. But he decided to take the high road, though did give a warning to the Raiders for disrespecting him.

It’s still early in the year. Stuff like that happens. It will get handled when it gets handled.

The reason why the Raiders used the Kermit doll to mock the reigning Super Bowl MVP is because previously, his voice has been compared to the doll. But Mahomes didn’t take it as an offense instead said that he is not ashamed of who he is.

Patrick Mahomes embraces pressure as Chiefs pursue three-peat

Regardless of what the rival teams say about it, there’s no denying that Mahomes is potentially the successor of legend Tom Brady and will likely become future G.O.A.T. While the other teams are hoping to beat the Chiefs, they are aiming for a historic three-peat in the coming season.

The Chiefs gained ultimate glory by winning two consecutive Super Bowls but Mahomes is not in the mood to celebrate just yet, instead, he said the Chiefs are not done and aiming to become the first time in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowl rings.

And he already started working on it this offseason with the franchise’s off-season moves to add potential wide receivers and not repeat the mistake like last season. Mahomes as well has started building good connections with them and building the most explosive offensive line.
