Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix could be heard trolling Jameis Winston with a peculiar cadence during ‘Monday Night Football’ against the Cleveland Browns.
Bo Nix and the Broncos will push themselves further to postseason contention with a victory over Jameis Winston and the 3-8 Browns, who are trying to play spoiler in the AFC playoff picture.
During a 4th-and-2 situation in the third quarter of Monday night’s game, Nix attempted to get Cleveland to jump offside with a simple (albeit bizarre) quarterback cadence. All the rookie signal-caller did was tell the Browns to, “jump offside.”
Spoiler alert: Bo Nix’s attempt to draw the Browns offside didn’t work, and they had to settle for a field goal to increase their lead to six.
In case you’re not familiar, Winston used this cadence in the Browns’ Week 12 home win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 2015 first-overall pick screamed, “Somebody jump offsides, DAMN!.”
Bo Nix Is Having A Superb Rookie Season
The Oregon product is having one of the best rookie quarterback seasons in recent memory. Coming into tonight’s game, Nix had a 64.9 completion percentage for 2,548 yards, 16 touchdowns, six interceptions, 300 rushing yards and four rushing scores.
