Philadelphia Eagles Lose Superstar For Season Following ‘SNF’ Win Over Los Angeles Rams

The Philadelphia Eagles will have to continue their Super Bowl 59 quest without fan favorite and longtime star Brandon Graham.

Speaking to reporters after the Eagles’ 37-20 blowout victory over the Los Angeles Rams on ‘Sunday Night Football’, Brandon Graham announced that he suffered a torn triceps and is done for the season, per Bleacher Report’s James Palmer.

Graham’s announcement can be seen in the video below:

It’s a tough and brutal blow for Brandon Graham and the Eagles, who are well-positioned for a deep postseason run after winning their seventh straight game. Graham is one of the final pieces remaining from the Super Bowl 52 championship team, so it’s on the Eagles’ other veterans to lead the way.

The 9-2 Eagles are on the verge of winning their second division title in three years. They occupy the No. 2 seed in the NFC, one game behind the 10-1 Detroit Lions for the top record in the conference.

This May Be It For Brandon Graham’s Career

Graham is 36 years of age and in a contract year. Some expected him to retire after the 2023 season, but the Super Bowl 52 hero came back for a 15th season on a one-year pact.

Graham will go down as one of the greatest players in Eagles history. It’d be a shame if this is how his career has to end, but no matter what, his legacy as one of the best pass-rushers of his era is secured.
