Jerry Jones can’t catch a break on or off the field.
Peyton Manning has shown over the years that he is a comedian at heart, and he proved it once again when he opened the CMA Music Awards on Wednesday night alongside Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson.
The three traded opportunities to poke a little fun at each other before the Dallas Cowboys came up.
Wilson said, “We learned this year that ‘Cowboys Cry Too’,” which he was referring to the duet of the same name by Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan.
That is when Peyton Manning jumped in and added, “But enough about Jerry Jones,” poking fun at the Dallas Cowboys owner and his team going through a tumultuous season.
Here are a few clips of the monologue with the joke about Jerry Jones:

As expected, the crowd went nuts with laughter following that joke.
Jerry Jones Is Having A Terrible Year
Jerry Jones had his 2024 year start with the Dallas Cowboys being blown out at home against the Packers in the Wild Card round in January.
He had no idea what was to come.
The Cowboys owner then stated he and the front office would be “All-in” to making moves in the offseason and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing.
That led to the team waiting until the last minute to sign Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.
Fast forward to now, and Jones has had to endure a 3-7 record and Prescott being out for the year after he suffered a partially torn hamstring in the Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
