Travis Kelce Shocks Fans by Clapping For The Buffalo Bills After Terrible Loss

The Kansas City Chiefs headed to Buffalo earlier this weekend to play the Bills, who are led by quarterback Josh Allen. Playing in front of its home crowd at Highmark Stadium, Buffalo came into the match as the small favorite. Naturally, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are unbeatable; throughout his career, he has an 11-3 record as an underdog.

The Bills vs. Chiefs game on Sunday afternoon was a back-and-forth contest, similar to the majority of their games in recent years. After a Mahomes interception, Buffalo scored on their opening drive of the game. After kicker Tyler Bass missed a point, running back James Cook pushed it in from three yards out to give the Bills a 6-0 lead.

Allen’s time to fumble the ball over with a dubious interception came just two series later. Early in the second quarter, Mahomes found rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy for a 10-yard score, giving the Chiefs the advantage. The Chiefs added another touchdown when Mahomes hit tight end Noah Gray, giving Kansas City a 14–13 lead.

Cook responded with his second touchdown of the game. Buffalo led 16–14 at the half after Bills kicker Tyler Bass made a field goal as the first half was coming to an end. After a third quarter without a score, Josh Allen’s touchdown pass to Curtis Samuel gave Buffalo a 23–14 lead. With another touchdown pass to Noah Gray, Mahomes and the Chiefs responded as expected, leaving everyone wondering what was going on with tight end Travis Kelce.

Kelce, who usually steals the show, was notably silent during the competition. Only two receptions totaling eight yards were made by the future Hall of Fame tight end that evening. The savage performance, which was performed without his girlfriend Taylor Swift, who reportedly did not attend the game, did not sit well with fantasy football managers. Ultimately, Kansas City suffered its first loss of the season as the Bills emerged victorious. Buffalo won 30-21 on Sunday afternoon, improving to 9-2 while the Chiefs dropped to 9-1.

Kelce shocked the NFL world after the game, as he was recorded clapping at the screaming Buffalo Bills fans. He knows the real test comes in January. Allen is 4-1 vs Mahomes in the regular season, Mahomes is 3-0 vs Allen in the playoffs.
