KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A luxury suite at the Super Bowl doesn’t come without a big price tag, even if it’s for a star like Travis Kelce.
Kelce hinted at the jaw-dropping number he paid for Taylor Swift, as well as family and friends, to cheer him on from a suite in Allegiant Stadium at Super Bowl LVIII.
In a clip from Netflix’s new docuseries, Receiver, Kelce chatted with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle about Super Bowl LVIII and who would be in attendance supporting them.
“You guys doing a suite?” Kelce asked Kittle. “No, I can’t,” Kittle said.
Before finishing his sentence, Kelce cuts him off, asking with a laugh, “Because they’re f***ing $3 million?”
Kelce followed up the question by saying he wasn’t sure if Kittle was going in on a private suite with other teammates.
The Kelce suite was packed with Taylor Swift, of course. Also seen in the suite were Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce and Swift’s parents.
Andrea and Scott Swift, and her brother Austin were also at the game, as were members of Swift’s “inner circle,” including actor Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice, Ice Spice’s producer RIOTUSA, and stylist and designer Ashley Avignone.
Back in February, Kelce joked on New Heights that he was preparing for the Super Bowl by thinking about losing all his money thanks to the astronomical suite prices.
“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money,” Kelce said.
Having recently signed on for a contract extension with the Chiefs worth over $34 million, hopefully, his bank account will recover soon.
