NFL Fans Are Convinced Commanders-Eagles Game Was Rigged After Social Media Detectives Uncovered Sketchy Personal Fact About One Of The Refs Following Their Controversial Decision

Fans went after the refs online after the Commanders-Eagles game bordered on the bizarre on Thursday night.

The Eagles claimed their sixth-straight win, their eighth of the season, with a 26-18 result against their NFC East rivals on ‘TNF,’ with Saquon Barkley having himself another massive outing.

Had the Eagles lost, we would have had quite an inquest as a questionable call late in the third quarter had fans rioting on social media.

A flag was thrown, as expected, after Eagles WR DeVonta Smith got his mask snatched by Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu. While the mask wasn’t grabbed from the front, Luvu got an opening near the rear, which still counts as a facemask penalty, or at least it was supposed to.

Shockingly enough, the officials picked up the flag, denying Philly the penalty.

“The Refs are making no sense tonight,” a fan wrote in the comments.

“When someone’s helmet does a 180 how can you miss that?” another asked.

“Nfl refs are super consistent and good. I cant imagine a sport with better officials,” said a third.

“Refs are doing the best nonsense possible !!” someone spat.

Ref From Commanders-Eagles Game Hails From Washington

MLFootball also noted that one of the refs is a Washington native, suggesting there was some preference on his part.

“seems like all NFL refs did because they always give the commanders the calls,” a comment read.

Despite the controversial decision, the Eagles have gone 8-2 on the season, taking over the game in the second half after a slow start.

Meanwhile, the Commanders are 7-4 after rookie QB Jayden Daniels’ remarkable start to life in the pros.
