The real reason Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul has been revealed ahead of their highly-anticipated fight this Friday.
The two star personalities will square off in the ring at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, tonight in a Netflix event every boxing fan has been waiting for.
Tyson and Paul have been mostly respectful in the build-up to the bout, but things got ugly during their weigh-in on Thursday as the boxing icon delivered a right-handed slap after they got in each other’s faces.
While the blow appeared random, turns out it was not.
The photo below shows Paul stepping on Tyson’s foot right before being slapped.

The 58-year-old was clearly unhappy about the move, given that he was only wearing socks while Paul had shoes on.
You can see him pointing to the floor immediately after slapping Paul.

Jake Paul Has Vowed To Knock Mike Tyson Out
To his credit, the 28-year-old fighter took the hit like a champ.
He was pretty fired up in the aftermath, sending a warning to his soon-to-be opponent in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
“It’s personal now, it’s personal now. He must die,” he said, vowing to knock Tyson out.
“Mind you, Jake did dat on purpose, he stepped on his foot, on purposed to get a rise out of Tyson to switch da narrative, yet he got rocked by a whole slapped, that he BRACED for,” a fan wrote on X.
Paul’s own company, MVP, suggested he was to blame for the bust-up, writing, “The reason behind the slap… was this Jake’s fault?”
