Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Rara Thomas just might have ended his college career over his alleged actions.
Rara Thomas was arrested Friday on three counts of second-degree cruelty to children and three counts of family violence battery.
His arrest and allegations are bad enough, but he has shown to be a problem off the field before, as this becomes Thomas’s second arrest during his time at the University of Georgia. In January 2023, he was charged with false imprisonment and a misdemeanor count of family violence battery.
Fortunately for him, those charges were dropped.

UGA Executive Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications Steven Drummond released a statement to UGASports: “This is a pending legal matter, and we will have no comment at this time.”
The Georgia Bulldogs are no strangers to players being problems off the field, as many of them have had run-ins with the law; the majority of those, however, have been driving-related.
Losing RaRa Thomas would be huge, given he was a major contributor to Georgia’s offense in 2023.
He caught 23 passes for 383 yards and a touchdown last season in 11 games and was expected to have an even bigger role in 2024.

Rara Thomas Could Face A Major Suspension Or Not Playing For The Bulldogs At All In 2024
University of Georgia wide receiver Rara Thomas was arrested Friday on three counts of second-degree cruelty to children, and three counts of family violence battery.
All of the charges carry a “family violence” distinction.
Not only is it unclear when he will be able to seek bond, but it remains unclear on what the Bulldogs will do with him.
This is his second arrest since transferring to the program, and despite charges being dropped the first time, it is clear his home situation is an issue, and the team may need to drop the hammer.
Rara Thomas could be suspended for multiple games, not play at all, or he could end up at another program.
