Tennessee QB Joe Milton III Is Breaking The Internet With His Ridiculous Throw That “Hit A Cloud” At Patriots Training Camp (VIDEO)

Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Joe Milton has everybody on the New England Patriots, as well as Drake Maye, on notice.

Milton, a sixth-round selection by the Patriots in the 2024 NFL Draft, was spotted at training camp getting some work in.

One moment during the camp saw Joe Milton simply flick his wrist and easily find a New England Patriots wide receiver down the field.

Some fans could even see how special he could possibly be for the Patriots.

As good as he is throwing the ball, Joe Milton is just as good as an overall human being.

According to NBC Sports Boston’s Kayla Burton, Milton spent at least 35 minutes signing autographs for fans after practice.

Joe Milton III, who was selected with the No. 193 overall pick by the New England Patriots in the sixth round, spent three seasons at Michigan and three seasons at Tennessee, starting a combined 21 games in his career.

Across 43 college games, Milton threw for 5,353 yards and 37 touchdowns, per Sports Reference. The majority of that production came in 2023 when he became Tennessee’s full-time starter.

Milton, of course, was the second quarterback the Patriots took during the 2024 NFL Draft. The first, Drake Maye, was the third overall pick and is expected to be the team’s franchise quarterback moving forward.

Longtime NFL Reporter Doesn’t Think Joe Milton Is A Threat To Drake Maye

Longtime NFL reporter Steve Wyche doesn’t think Joe Milton is a threat to Drake Maye in the New England Patriots’ quarterback competition.

Maye is competing with Jacoby Brissett for the starting job in New England.

“There’s Jacoby Brissett, the veteran, in New England,” said Wyche during a recent appearance on RG3 and the Ones. “Joe Milton, at the best, is going to be the No. 3 quarterback. Whether they open the season with Jacoby Brissett as the starter or with Drake Maye as the starter with Jacoby Brissett backing him up. That is the dynamic.

“Now, Milton, we saw the talent in the full season as the starter at Tennessee. Joe Milton, first off, has to establish himself as an NFL player. One way or another, Drake Maye’s going to finish the season as the starter, unless he gets injured. Let’s say Joe Milton shows some stuff in preseason, maybe they can trade him for some assets.”
