The “rigged” chants were as effusive as ever while the Baltimore Ravens played the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Thursday night.
The Ravens saw some questionable decisions go their way in the ‘TNF’ fixture as they fought their way back from a 21-7 deficit. A late hit on Bengals QB Joe Burrow went unchecked, and a false start from Baltimore was ignored.
You can see the hit on Burrow in the video below:
🚨🚨🚨THIS IS CRAZY🚨🚨🚨
JOE BURROW GETS CHRUSHED ON A VERY VERY LATE BY A #RAVENS DEFENDER, NO CALL FROM THE REFS….
INSANE. EVERY OTHER QB IN THE LEAGUE THIS IS CALLED.

“If it was Mahomes dude would’ve been suspended from the NFL,” a fan claimed.
“If that was mahomes dude would be on his way to jail right now,” another agreed.
“No lie, that should’ve been a flag. Incredibly late,” said a third.
Fans Thought The Refs Were Either Useless Or Setting The Cincinnati Bengals Up Against The Baltimore Ravens
There was some more outrage after what appeared to be a clear false start went unpunished.
Check that out here:
🚨🚨AWFUL REFEREEING🚨🚨
The refs missed an obvious false start call on #Ravens tackle Ronnie Stanley on Baltimore 84 yard touchdown play.
😱😱😱
Stanley was two steps early… Cincinnati has been messed over by the refs majorly multiple times tonight

“Dude was out of bounds too lmao 😭😭,” a comment read.
“Nothing but foot locker employees with whistles…” someone added.
“Goodell is clearly rigging this thing to keep Lamar Jackson in it for ratings, pathetic!” another raged.
Burrow was the victim of a grabbed facemask with under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter that also wasn’t called.
And then, after the Bengals scored to make it 35-34 with under a minute left, they opted to try and win the game with a 2-point conversion. And on that play, there was not one, but two blatant penalties that went uncalled.
First, there was a clear defensive holding penalty that was ignored on Mike Gesicki:
And on top of that, there was this brutal hit to the head that Joe Burrow took on the play:
When it was all said and done, the Bengals ended up on the short end of the stick when it came to the officiating AND the scoreboard.
