The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Adonai Mitchell dazzled in his final season at Texas, recording 55 receptions for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Longhorns qualified for the four-team postseason, losing 37-31 to the Washington Huskies in the Sugar Bowl.

Mitchell was widely expected to be a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he slipped to the Colts in round two at No. 52 overall. If he comes as advertised, Mitchell could very well emerge as the steal of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Adonai Mitchell & Colts Are A Sleeper Team Entering 2024

The Colts finished 9-8 last year and narrowly missed out on the postseason despite having prized rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson for only four games.

If Richardson can stay healthy, he’ll be in a tremendous position to dominate with Adonai Mitchell, Michael Pittman Jr. and 2021 rushing champion Jonathan Taylor as his main playmakers.

Throw in the Colts’ vaunted front seven and their rock-solid offensive line, and the pieces are there for them to emerge as a playoff team here in 2024.
