10 Things I Think I Think – Raiders game

1 – I think I really detest the Raiders, maybe more than any other team. I think this is mainly from years gone by but it gets refreshed often with things like laps around the parking lot, Kermit imitations of Mahomes, the Head Coach talking smack and so much more. When Coach Pierce said he gave the NFL a blueprint on how to beat the Chiefs, I guess that blueprint doesn’t work anymore. I guess Mahomes “handled” it on the field like he said he would.

2 – I think that the addition of D-Hop is going to be huge. He made meaningful catches which is impressive.

3 – I think that it is great to see Kelce becoming more involved in the offense. The defenses can’t focus only on him with the other real threats on the field. Any question about if he still has it should be gone. He has it!!!

4 – I think my heart skipped a beat or two when Mahomes went down and came up limping.

5 – I think the defense came up huge, EXTREMELY huge! When Mahomes threw the pick from the end zone I had a very sick feeling in my stomach. Then the defense came on the field and shut them down. Game ball to the defense.

6 – I think the Worthy needs to work with D-Hop and try to learn how not to drop balls. At least he caught the one for a TD.

7 – I think I have mixed emotions when KC has the ball with first and goal and tries running it on 1st AND 2nd downs. If you almost make it in, then I understand, but when the 1st down run doesn’t much, then I don’t quite understand it as much.

8 – I think that anyone who says the Refs favor KC should watch the 3rd quarter of this game. WOW, that was RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

9 – I think the pass to Worthy that was caught by Gray was pretty impressive and crucial. KC had some other receivers like Watson and Gray making some catches, which is a good sign. It doesn’t look good for Fortson. Hope he is alright.

10 – I think my 92 year old Mother didn’t appreciate me yelling when Mahomes threw the pick or on all the 3rd quarter penalties!!! I had to explain to her that sometimes they play better after I yell at them. She even cheered a little (she cared absolutely nothing about football, but she cares about me ).

It was a great day for the Chiefs. Baltimore lost, the Bengals lost, the Raiders lost – Three teams that I enjoy watching lose. 7-0 sounds GREAT!!! Go Chiefs!!!!!
