The last thing the San Francisco 49ers needed was more injuries.
During the third quarter of Sunday’s Chiefs-49ers game in Santa Clara, California, 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was carted to the locker room after suffering a leg injury.
Replay shows Aiyuk’s leg bending awkwardly after taking a hit from a Chiefs defensive player. Aiyuk was able to walk off the field, but did so gingerly and went straight to the medical tent.
He was taken to the locker room on a cart.
