Fans devastated after Liam Payne’s girlfriend reveals their life changing plans before his death

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has revealed the One Direction star wrote her a letter about his plans to stay ‘together forever’ before his sudden death.

The 31-year-old passed away earlier this month after falling from the third floor of the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Tributes have been pouring in online, including from Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who took to Instagram yesterday to commemorate the star.

Cassidy took to her Instagram page to share photographs of her and Payne alongside a heartfelt statement.

It read: “I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now.

“You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone – millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.

“You are – because I can’t say were – my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into.

“None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I’m struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side.”

The influencer reflected on getting to be ‘kids again’ with Payne and ‘always finding joy in the smallest things’, praising her partner for having ‘the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit’, adding it feels like she’s ‘lost the best part’ of herself.

And Cassidy also shared a letter Payne wrote to her about their future together.

She says the pair sat outside one evening several weeks previously ‘manifesting [their] lives together’ and the singer gave her a note which she keeps ‘close’, even though Payne ‘told [her] not to look at it’.

According to Cassidy, it says: “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.”

In her Instagram post, the meaning of 444 is explained as ‘the favorite number sequence of the angels’, saying you will see the sequence when ‘feeling alone’.

Cassidy’s post resolves: “Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.

One Twitter user said: “Wait this is devastating my heart goes out to her.”

“My heart aches so bad for this woman, i really hope she is okay,” another added, as a third commented: “Manifesting she finds happiness again.”

Liam Payne’s ex shares heartfelt message he sent just weeks before his untimely death

Liam Payne’s ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer has spoken out asking people to remember he’s a ‘son’ ‘brother’ ‘friend’ and ‘uncle’ as well as a ‘world famous musician’.

The former One Direction star passed away on October 16 after falling from the third floor of CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Since the 31-year-old’s passing, friends, family and fans have been flooding to social media to pay tribute to the star.

Danielle Peazer and Payne dated from 2010 to 2013 and she took to Instagram yesterday (October 20) to share two photographs of them together alongside a statement.

She said: “Whilst we all take the time to navigate in a world without Liam, it’s important to remember that while he was adored by millions as a world famous musician for the last decade, he was also someone’s son and brother for more than 30 years, a friend to so many and more recently an uncle.

“His most important role and something he was the most proud of out of all of his monumental successes was that he was a father. The thought that there is a now a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair. To Liam’s son Bear, as well as his parents and sisters, my love, thoughts and strength goes to you. The magnitude of this loss is incomprehensible and I will continue to support you in any way I am able to.”

Addressing the star himself, Peazer noted how it ‘still doesn’t feel real’ and that ‘despite being aware of [his] struggles over the years’, she ‘hoped and prayed that this day would never come’.

“But now we’re all facing the reality of living a life without your presence. It’s common at times like this for people to say ‘I hope he knew how much I cared about him’ but I know that you knew how I felt, it was one thing we were really good at – being brutally honest with our feelings for each other, whether the other wanted to hear it or not,” she continued, before reflecting on the time they spent together and revealing a text she received from Payne just several weeks ago.

Peazer reflected on Payne as ‘at times’ being her ‘favorite person in the whole world’ but also him ‘wind[ing]’ her up and her ‘annoy[ing] the hell out of’ him too.

While the pair’s relationship ended in 2013, Peazer noted ‘that seemed to be just the start of [their] story’ and explained they held ‘some sort of connection forever’.

Peazer says Payne even sent her a message just ‘a couple of weeks ago expressing [his] happiness for the love [she] found with [husband] Sonny and [daughter] Mia’.

“[It’s] something I’ll cherish forever,” she said.

The statement resolved: “I’m sorry your story didn’t end differently, and I’m sorry you didn’t ever get to share more of your magic with the world.Rest easy my friend. Love Danielle.”

Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, has issued her first statement following the news of the former One Direction star’s death.

Payne and Cassidy had been visiting Argentina together before Payne, 31, was confirmed to have died after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires.

Police were called to the hotel on Wednesday (October 16) over reports of a ‘guest drunk with drugs and alcohol’, according to a transcript of the 911 call.

When authorities arrived, Payne was confirmed to have fallen from his balcony and suffered ‘injuries that were incompatible with life’, Alberto Crescenti, the head of the state emergency medical system, said.

Cassidy left Payne in Argentina just two days prior to his death, explaining in a TikTok video at the time that she was ‘so ready to leave’ the country.

She added: “Honestly, I love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long and we were supposed to be there for like five days and it turned into two weeks and I was just like I need to go home.”

When Cassidy landed back in the US, she said she was ‘so happy’ to be home and documented herself ordering a bagel before going to bed.

Cassidy has now issued a statement in the wake of Payne’s death.

“Thank you for all the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss,” she wrote.

“Nothing about the past few days have felt real.

“I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.

“Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely.

“I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.”

Cassidy, who works as a social media influencer, began dating Payne in 2022.

She previously joked that she’d ‘manifested’ the relationship when she was just 10 years old, as she’d drawn a picture of Payne onto a popsicle stick.

In the video, Cassidy said: “And somehow 10 years later…” then opened the door to her childhood bedroom to reveal the real-life Payne on her bed.

She captioned the post: “The power of manifesting, I guess.”

The couple made red carpet appearances together and documented their travels across the globe, enjoying trips to the likes of New York, Spain and Italy.

Fans of the couple have been sharing their condolences to Cassidy in the wake of Payne’s death, with one writing: “Thanks for making Liam happy, so sorry for your loss.”

I’ve gained a guardian angel.

“I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go.”

Cassidy concluded the heartbreaking statement with 444; a series of numbers explained in another image in the carousel.

The image explained: “Sequence number 444 is the favorite number sequence of the angels. More often, you will see the number 444 when you are feeling alone. In simple sense, the number 444 reminds you that your angels are always there to support you.

“When you see this number you will be assured that you are protected and loved by the angels.”

Police and local officials are still looking into Payne’s death, with those in Argentina confirming on Tuesday (22 October) that toxicology reports are still incomplete.

That also means the 31-year-old’s body cannot be returned to his family in the UK until the reports are done.

“Unfortunately, he had injuries that were incompatible with life, as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death, there was no possibility of resuscitation.”
