More Shocking Details Released On Aiden Hutchinson’s Emergency Surgery Following Gruesome Leg Injury That Has Him Stuck In The Hospital & “Down For A While”

Lions DE Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending fractured tibia on Sunday.

Hutchinson was attempting to make a play in the backfield against Dak Prescott when his leg whipped and struck another player’s leg.

He would soon be surrounded by teammates and Cowboys players before being carted off the field to be taken directly to a hospital.

After the game, lions head coach Dan Campbell said that Aidan Hutchinson is staying at the hospital in Dallas for treatment.

On top of that, his injury was so bad that he immediately had emergency surgery.

Campbell was asked if Hutchinson went into immediate surgery for a “compound fracture,” and he said “yes.”

The Lions held a 34-6 lead at the time of the injury and went on to win 47-9.

Hutchinson entered Sunday leading the NFL with 6.5 sacks.

“It was tough,” Campbell said. “He’s in good hands right now. He’s being taken care of. He’ll stay back here, and obviously, he’s going to be down for a little while.

“That’s tough. It’s hard when you lose somebody like him. But we’ll know a lot more after this and, obviously, wish him the best.”

Losing Aidan Hutchinson Spells Doom For The Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions were victorious on Sunday, but they somehow lost in the end.

Aidan Hutchinson fractured his tibia, which is going to have him down for the remainder of the year.

Entering today’s game, Hutchinson had appeared in four games for the Lions and recorded 16 tackles and 6.5 sacks to go along with a forced fumble.

Losing their best player on defense will certainly affect the team’s style of play.

As you can see, the team held the Cowboys to zero touchdowns.
