The Chiefs\u2019 heiress is kicking off her freshman year at Southern Methodist University in style and is already making friends.<\/p>\n

Ava Hunt is much more reserved about sharing aspects of her life. Despite that, she still has over 57,000 followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Ava went viral after she posted a kissy-face selfie with another cheerleader.<\/p>\n

Hunt\u2019s last public appearance before the injury was in August, when she attended a Morgan Wallen concert at Arrowhead Stadium with her older sister,\u00a0Gracie Hunt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chiefs CEO\u2019s Daughter Ava Hunt Still Recovering From Emergency Surgery<\/h2>\n

The youngest daughter of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt had to undergo surgery for an injury she sustained during a recent accident on a hiking trip.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old Ava Hunt fell down a mountain and injured her leg \u2014 which required a trip to the hospital where she had to get emergency surgery, according to her mother, Tavia Hunt, on her\u00a0Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThis little thang fell down the mountain today on a hike & went to the ER for surgery on a deep wound,\u201d Tavia posted to her Instagram Stories alongside a selfie of the mother-daughter duo. She added, \u201cIt\u2019s been a looong day. Praise God she\u2019s in recovery and already smiling. Please pray for a quick and complete recovery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

It has now been two months since that injury and surgery, and she continues to be on the road to recovery.<\/p>\n
