In his recent appearance on\u00a0The Rich Eisen Show, Jones revealed one of the more interesting rules the Chiefs bench boss has for his players, and honestly, it\u2019s not what fans may expect to be important to a coach.<\/p>\n
After being asked if he\u2019s ever had to scold a teammate for anything, Jones replied that they usually \u201chave talks\u201d before explaining that it\u2019s usually with rookies trying to understand the unwritten rules of the locker room.<\/p>\n

\u201cUsually younger guys trying to figure out how to do things, mostly just showing them the way, showing them how it\u2019s usually done here\u2026 or a new guy coming on the team and not understanding how this organization operates,\u201d Jones explained before revealing that Reid doesn\u2019t allow players to wear black cleats in the locker room.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t wear black cleats. It\u2019s simple, but this organization has these little things that we follow by that sometimes players don\u2019t know,\u201d Jones continued before being asked why the players aren\u2019t allowed to sport black cleats in the locker room.<\/p>\n
\u201cListen, I don\u2019t know\u2026 I just work here! I don\u2019t make the rules,\u201d claimed the three-time Super Bowl champion. While he may not be allowed to wear black cleats in the locker room, it\u2019s probably for good reason, as the Chiefs are off to a perfect 4-0 start and look to make it 5-0 when they take on the New Orleans Saints on\u00a0Monday Night Football.<\/p>\n
